GDPR Compliance Readiness Assessment

GDPR Compliance Readiness Assessment

The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) replaces the Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC and is designed to synchronize data privacy laws across Europe and protect all EU citizens right to data privacy while reshaping the way organizations across the region approach data privacy. Secure Digital Solutions proven process to understand GDPR compliance divides the engagement into four (4) steps, with deliverables after each is complete.

Phase 1 (Discovery): The purpose of this step is to identify as much information as possible that is relevant to the assessment by engaging the project champions. Focusing our efforts this way should minimize the impact to customer staff of the Field Work step.

Phase 2 (Field Work): This phase supplements and validates information obtained during the Discovery phase 1. On an as-needed basis and with the coordination of the project champions, Secure Digital Solutions interview customer subject-matter experts (SMEs). Our team will conduct this work remotely where possible, or in person in circumstances where more value and efficiency is achieved.

Phase 3 (Analysis): In the Analysis Phase our team draws conclusions from the Discovery and Field Work phases. Secure Digital Solutions will analyze the delta between customer current practices and controls and requirements outlined in GDPR and/or Privacy Shield. This phase is generally conducted remotely to reduce overhead costs for our customers.

Phase 4 (Reporting): Reporting phase is combines all information into a draft formal report detailing findings, compliance gaps and recommendations for addressing these gaps. Customers receive a well organized and visually enhanced report to easily share and communicate the results with leadership teams and control owners alike.
