Serving clients across the United States and Canada, each member of the Secure Digital Solutions (SDS) team is certified and has at least 10 years of experience in his or her discipline. Collectively, our certifications include CISSP, CISA, CIPP, CISM, MCSD, and GIAC. We’re on top of all prevalent industry standards and rules, including PCI DSS, FISMA, HIPAA, HITECH, APEC, GLBA, FFIEC, NIST, PIPEDA, EU Privacy rules, and ISO 27001—as well as an array of U.S. state-specific privacy rules.

SDS was an early leader in maturity-based information security program management–a methodology just now becoming an industry standard. The centerpiece of SDS’s service offering is a Maturity Assessment, Profile, and Plan (MAPP).

SDS abides by ethical guidelines of leading professional associations, including the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).

While our team members specialize, they’re all required to be familiar with industry standards, frameworks, and best practices. Chad Boeckmann, Founder/CEO

Chad Boeckmann has over 20 years of information security and regulatory compliance experience. He founded Secure Digital Solutions (SDS) in 2005 with a vision to provide clients vendor neutral information security services aligned with business goals and objectives. Chad has pioneered SDS’s Maturity Assessment, Profile, and Plan model, a methodology that unites IT leaders, executives, and boards around common cyber risk strategies. Chad took the next step to lead development of TrustMAPP, a groundbreaking SaaS that automates information security program performance management and security program roadmap building.

Chad is GSEEC(inactive) CISSP(inactive), and CISA certified. He speaks at national conferences on the improvement of security program management, including data loss, security metrics, infosec management, and building a case for information security to executives. Chad has been quoted in CSO Online, InformationWeek, SearchITChannel and Ezine articles as well as participated in global podcasts on the subject of security leadership and strategy.

David Radloff, Chief Financial Officer

David has over 10 years of corporate finance experience and previously held a CIO role for 11 years at Hutchinson Technologies. David brings extensive public company experience with a proven track record of establishing robust strategies to optimize business and drive shareholder value. In collaboration with executive leadership, successfully redirected business trajectories resulting in decreased costs, leading edge new products, and increased customer and employee confidence. Experience leading Finance, IT, and Sales organizations provides unique insight into company capabilities and potential. David earned a BA in Economics and Accounting from Augustana College.

Adam Stone, VP Solution Delivery & CPO

Adam Stone, MBA, Fellow in Information Privacy (FIP), CIPM, CIPP/US, CISSP, ISSMP, HCISPP has over 30 years business leadership experience with 20 years overseeing data privacy and security functions for pharmaceutical distribution, healthcare, insurance, financial services and marketing organizations.

Adam has significant experience with the broad array of global privacy and data security laws and regulations. He is expert in the intricacies of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and its implementing regulations. He provides advice and leadership for successfully implementing complex regulatory regimes for large organizations – including HIPAA/HITECH, PCI DSS, Shared Assessments SIG/AUP, 42 CFR Part 2, G-L-B and FFIEC standards, Privacy Shield self-certification, ISO 17799/27001/2 and several EU data protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Adam earned an MBA from University of St. Thomas and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities campus.

Jeff O’Dell, Executive Director

Jeff O’Dell is a serial entrepreneur serving in leadership roles as Co-Founder, CEO, Board Director, and Sales/Marketing for private and public companies. He has helped fundraise over $60M in growth capital, including leading an IPO as CEO for August Technology. Global experience includes semiconductor equipment, energy storage, software, and health care related businesses. O’Dell is a degreed engineer, former patent holder, an active member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), and provides leadership in business strategy, financial planning, and development of strong corporate cultures. He currently serves on the board of several high-potential entrepreneurial companies such as Secure Digital Solutions, SynerFuse, and Nurse Health Group.
