Leaders around the globe use TrustMAPP to measure and communicate the business value of information security for organizations large and small. We are looking for an enthusiastic data protection professional interested in joining our Product Marketing team. Our principal offices are in Minneapolis, Minnesota, though this role is virtual.

As a Product Marketing Manager at TrustMAPP, you will play a key role in driving the launches of product releases, thought leadership, and content strategy for our SaaS security offering. You will craft compelling and well-differentiated positioning, and messaging to drive the awareness and adoption of our SaaS security solution.

Responsibilities:

You will work closely with stakeholders from product management, sales, demand generation, and partners to develop and execute your strategy.

  • Build and execute a thought leadership plan to raise awareness for our comprehensive SaaS security offering
  • Thoroughly understand market segments, their needs, buyer personas and their journeys, and competitive landscape to build deeply persuasive and differentiated messaging, content and assessments.
  • Train, and enable with tools, a rapidly growing sales organization to discover, qualify and progress opportunities.
  • Author compelling, high-quality content to drive thought leadership in a variety of formats including print, web, social media, video and email campaigns.
  • Partner with external parties to manage social media and web related content
  • Support product launches and collaborate with field teams to execute marketing campaigns
  • Represent the company in customer engagements and at events, to evangelize our point of view
  • Ability to effectively partner with cross-functional teams on projects to drive alignment, execution and business results.
  • Develop clear, customer-focused communications and content to improve product adoption
  • Actively participate in analyst relations and public relations initiatives
  • Participate in webcasts, events and other demand generation activities
  • Guide and contribute to sales and partner enablement
  • Serve as a voice of the sales team to the product development organization

Experience Requirements:

  • ~3+ years of product marketing experience is required, preferably in a cybersecurity company
  • Storyteller with outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Deep understanding of security personas and buying cycles
  • Experience in building and executing product launch and content plans
  • Knowledge of cyber security technology concepts
  • Comfortable with creating and delivering presentations in a range of environments, from industry conferences to customer briefings
  • Analytical with a creative mind, data-oriented, ability to juggle many projects, and able to rapidly anticipate and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Self motivated and have an entrepreneurial spirit

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in information security and/or data protection generally; business-focus preferred over technical expertise.
  • Eagerness to represent TrustMAPP in business development activities, as requested by the Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Proven successes in client service, support, and training.
  • Exceptional communication skills; demonstrable expertise in business writing and speaking.
  • Ability to translate technical, complex security subjects into language that resonates across a wide array of stakeholders, including senior executives.
  • Clear ability to resolve problems thoughtfully and in a timely manner.
  • Expert knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of tools (i.e., Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, etc.).
  • Experience working with Salesforce or Pardot tools preferred
  • Ability to understand and apply business concepts as they relate to the management of information security.
  • Willingness to travel (expected 5% percent) to in-person company meetings, as required.
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime and a adapt to a flexible work schedule.
